Starting to remove the crusty parts.

As found, with only the radiator and battery removed.

This is the largest tupperware tub overflowing with wasted parts.

Bagging & blasting.  All unburnt parts of the car are protected with plastic sheeting  pursuant to sandblasting.

Sandblasting removes ALL TRACES OF damage: burned paint, rust, etc.

These surfaces are back to bare and or primed metal .

Next, self etching primer is applied to all sandblasted surfaces.

After a second application of a different (high build) primer (not shown), Volvo original base coat-clear coat paint is applied.

Next, the wiring is replaced with original harnesses - 100's of feet of wiring will make the car work as it did before the accident.

Fortunately we were able to bring this fine car back to pre-accident condition.
